Intellectual Property Policy
Welcome to Urbandapper (accessible via urbandapper.shop). As a creative brand, we have deep respect for the hard work, original designs, and intellectual property rights of fellow artists, designers, and brand owners. In full alignment with United States and international copyright standards—including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)—we’ve created this policy to ensure a fair, transparent, and respectful environment for everyone.
Because we display a beautifully curated variety of lifestyle collections—ranging from Wall Decor, Garden Art, and Automobile Signs to custom LED Neon and heavy-duty Metal Signage—we take any allegations of unauthorized property use very seriously and address them with care.
1. How to Report an Infringement
If you own the rights to a creative work (or are a legally authorized representative) and believe that a product design, listing image, or text on our site uses your copyrighted material, trademark, or design patent without permission, please let us know. We are always ready to cooperate and make things right.
To help us look into this as quickly as possible, please email your written notice to our support team at support@urbandapper.shop with the following details:
- Your Signature: A physical or digital signature of the intellectual property owner or the person legally authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of Your Work: A clear, descriptive summary of the copyrighted work, trademark, or patent design you believe was infringed. (If available, please include official registration numbers or links to the original work).
- Location of the Material: The exact URL link(s) or specific product titles on urbandapper.shop where the item is listed. Broad store searches or general descriptions make it hard for us to find, so specific links are incredibly helpful.
- Your Contact Info: Your full legal name, physical mailing address, phone number, and professional email address.
- A Good Faith Statement: A straightforward statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you honestly believe the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the rights owner, their legal agent, or current laws.
- An Accuracy Declaration: A brief note confirming that everything in your notice is completely accurate and that you are the true owner or have the power of attorney to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. What Happens Next?
As soon as we receive a complete notice at our support desk, our team will step in to review it right away:
- Our review team will look over the details of your submission thoroughly within 3 to 5 business days.
- If the claim is verified as valid and accurate, we will promptly remove or disable access to the product listing or media assets on our active website.
- We will keep communication transparent by notifying the designer or supplier responsible for the listing about the official takedown request.
3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If a product listing you supplied or uploaded was taken down due to an intellectual property claim, and you believe this happened by mistake, due to a misidentification, or under a valid licensing agreement, you have every right to file a Counter-Notification with us.
Please send your Counter-Notification to support@urbandapper.shop and include:
- Your physical or digital signature along with your full contact details.
- A clear identification of the specific material that was taken down and the exact URL it occupied before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you genuinely believe the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if you live outside the United States, for the judicial district of Connecticut, where Urbandapper operates.
4. Protecting Creative Integrity
In compliance with global e-commerce marketplace expectations and Google Merchant Center safety standards, Urbandapper does not tolerate repeated, intentional copyright violations. Any manufacturer, supplier, or vendor partner who repeatedly overlooks formal copyright warnings or attempts to sell infringing designs will have their access permanently revoked and their catalog removed from our platform completely.
